This Camp was held at palghar in January 2002. Palghar is a very small village situated in Maharashtra and is approximately 2,50,000 people. The local people are very poor.
The patients are usually kept for 4 days. On the second day the patients were operated upon by a team of qualified doctors from JJ Group of Hospitals under the Leadership of T P Lahane, Head of the Ophthalmology department.

On all these days the patients are provided with all the meals. After the camp we had 3 follow ups. At the final check up we provided the patients with free numbered glasses.
