All wrapped up Patient waits for doctor to operate.  His eye has been anesthised so it does not move and it is held open by a clamp.  The doctor is operating on a patient in the bed beside this one and will slide over as soon as he is done there.  This system enhances the efficiency and increases the speed.  There are a total of 708 surgeries to be done in 3 operating days by 4 doctors.

December 10th – 14th, Anandwan ‘I CARE’, a Mumbai-based NGO, & Grant Medical College/JJ. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai Collaborated for the 5th consecutive year to organize a mega-eye Camp on the Anandwan campus near Warora.
The Dynamic members of ICARE and the residents of Anandwan Campus near residents, was an unforgettable experience. Inaugrated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, R. R. Patil , the camp restored vision to 532 patients.
